Rear axle Go Kart Bearings are UC and SB Insert style with a wider inner ring for mounting on a shaft. The bearing is locked in place through setscrews or a locking collar. The heavy duty rubber seal provides extra protection against the harshest elements. All sealed bearings are packed in grease and will require short break in period to loosen up. These bearings have ceramic balls, with stainless steel races and ploymite retainers. Ceramic hybrids are lighter, capable of achieving higher RPM's and sustaining higher operating temperatures than traditional bearings. Bearings that are packed in grease will require a short break in period to loosen up. Grease can usually be removed before shipping upon request.
