My name is Justin Mitchell, and I am from Goldsboro, NC. I have been racing real cars and go karts since the age of 5, and I started racing RC cars 3 years later. I have been around racing my whole life, and my milk bottle 6 weeks after I was born was warmed on a super late model motor at Wake County Speedway were my birth was also announced. This may be what immediately put racing into my blood, but being raised near RC cars, and racing turned to be a very bad thing for the wallet. I raced kid karts on my 5th birthday and have been hooked since. The first time I went to the RC car track, my dad made me swear to him that I wasn't going to race RC cars, I assured him, but was obviously thinking different.
Seven years later I haven't regretted a second of it. In go karts I won 5 state championships, and 1 national championship. In Bandoleros, I was 2010's Pro All Star Series - CCS series champion. In Legend cars, I finished 4th in Coastal Plains Speedways weekly points series, in my rookie year. I now drive for Kyle Beattie Racing, and we are hoping for more great things to come, in 2012. In RC cars, I have ran: Mini Slider sprint cars, Dirt late-models, Legends, 17.5 truck, 17.5 car, and 13.5 in oval. I was also T,Q at The 2010 17.5 shootout, in Greenville Tennessee. In 2012 I am going for the win at every big oval event, and nothing short of it.
