Stephen Kinning lives in Belfast, Northern Ireland. He sportcast in Northern Ireland and is a member of two clubs - Ulster Casting Club & Down Casting Association. He has been using Boca Bearings in his casting reels for a few months with fantastic results. I have had personal bests using these bearings on 125g weight.

Stephen uses two rods: Z-ziplex Zti and a Z-ziplex Full Tournament. The reels Stephen use are Abu 6500 ct, Abu 5500 ct and Daiwa 7ht turbo all converted to mono mags or centre mags. Stephen has only recently started pendulum casting after reaching his target for off the ground casting of 230 yards. He had some great success with pendulum casting with his distance increasing after only a couple of months making the switch between the two disciplines. Kinning plans to start competing at a higher level in 2012 and attend international events in England.
