Ceramic Hybrid and Full Ceramic Bearings
Full Ceramic Bearings are made entirely of ceramic material and are superior to common steel bearings in many ways. Ceramic is the perfect material for any application seeking to achieve higher RPM’s, reduce overall weight or for extremely harsh environments where high temperatures and corrosive substances are present. Radial Bearings
The purpose of a radial bearing is to reduce rotational friction and support loads. This is achieved by using two races to hold the balls and to spread the load through the balls. As the bearing race rotates it causes the balls to rotate. The ball provides for substantially less rolling resistance and coefficient of friction than if two flat surfaces were rotating. Starting from the rigorous testing of the wire for all crucial factors, balls are produced in specifically designed machines called Headder, Flasher, Grinder and Lapper. Heat treatment is one of the most important operations that give required strength & hardness to the balls. Heat treatment makes the balls tough and wear resistant. Different materials can be used and are outlined below, if you cannot find what you are looking for please feel free to contact us directly. Learn More »

One Way Bearings
New One Way Bearing series by Boca Bearings. Drawn cup needle roller clutches have a small radial section height and are also commonly known as One Way Bearings or Anti-Reverse Bearings. This design uses the same small radial section as drawn cup needle roller bearings which make better use of available space. The units are compact, lightweight and operate directly on a shaft; they are also suitable for transmitting high torque. Learn More »

Angular Contact Bearings
Angular contact bearings are designed such that there is an angle between the races and the balls when the bearing is in operation. An axial load passes in a straight line through the bearing, whereas a radial load takes an oblique path that tends to want to separate the races axially. So the angle of contact on the inner race is the same as that on the outer race. Angular contact bearings are typically assembled with a thrust load or preload. Learn More »

Mounted Unit Bearings
Flange mounted bearings are used when a shaft axis is perpendicular to the bearing mounting surface. Available in 2, 3, or 4-hole configurations, flange mounted bearings provide a method of accurate mounting fits and load support. 2-bolt flanged bearings have a diamond shaped flange with 2 mounting holes. Most 3-bolt flanged bearings have a circular mounting flange with three, equally spaced mounting holes. Other hole configurations, such as an offset pattern, are also available. Learn More »

Needle Bearings
Needle bearings use a roller style rolling element to reduce friction of a rotating surface. Needle Bearings have a high load carrying capacity with a very small cross section height. They are available with or without an inner ring. The needle rollers are guided parallel to the axis using a cage retainer, thrust bearings can also be supplied with no retainer, which is referred to as a full complement of rollers.Learn More »

Thrust Bearings
Thrust bearings are designed for side or axial loads, and cannot handle much radial load at all. The rolling element in a thrust bearing can be a ball, needle or roller. Thrust bearings come in both metric and inch sizes. Dimensions to consider when searching are the bore, the outside diameter and the overall width. Operating specifications to consider when searching for thrust bearings are rated speed, static axial load, and dynamic axial load.Learn More »

Electric Motor Quality (EMQ) Bearings
The Boca Bearing Company has recently expanded inventory to include Electric Motor Quality (EMQ) bearings and Ceramic Coated Insulated High Voltage bearings. The electric motor and electric power generation industries are constantly seeking increased efficiency and longer up-times. This electrical equipment is often relied upon for mission critical situations and can be very costly to repair.

Industrial Lubrication
Industrial lubricants are oils, greases and other substances designed to reduce friction, binding or wear. Specialized characteristics may enhance thermal conduction or reduce electrical resistivity. Other industrial lubricants can provide sealing against moisture. Industrial lubricants are available in many forms such as low viscosity oils, high viscosity greases, waxes and solid lubricant powders.
