Traveled into Wis. 2-7-13 to CCX and ran 2wd mod sc, competition was extremely close. Qual 2nd into Bmain, had some bad luck second lap in being taken out from behind. Regrouped and drove back up to a second place finish bumping into the Amain. Finished 7th just a few seconds behind 5th and 6th places after a extremely hard battle.....not too bad for a new track and a class of 25 mod sct's

I was quite young when I was bitten by the RC Bug, in fact my first memories were of watching my father build and run RC boats on the St. Lawrence River at our cottage. I then spent many hours fixing his electric cars after breaking them before he would get home from work. However I always was drawn to 1/8 Scale and bugged my parents for years before Santa finally brought me a 1978 2WD Kyosho Rowdy Baja!! I started running RC Cars for Fun with friends and family and then that turned into racing, racing led to my passion and now becoming a Professional RC Racer has been a lifelong dream come true!! Something I have been dreaming about for almost 40 years now!! So please follow along with me as I chase more dreams as I cannot do it alone!

I am an avid electric racer in the Atlanta Metro area that has been racing for 18 years. I originally started racing in Tampa, Florida in the early 90’s and strictly raced 1/10th electric vehicles. I enjoyed some success racing in some of the legendary races held at Lake Park like the Losi Winter Champs race.
I moved away from RC in the early 2000 because there was a large shift from electric to nitro. I stayed out of the RC hobby for a few years until recently. I started back racing in RC around 2 1/2 years ago when the explosion of SCT help bring a resurgence to electric racing.
I am heavily involved in the RC racing community here in Atlanta. I understand how important it is to our sport to promote it and bring in new racers.

My name is Igor Fokeev, I am a 28 year old IT guy by day, and overtime aviation and tech buff by night, I currently reside in Long Island, NY. From as far back as I can remember, aviation was always at the top of my list… when I was a kid (in Russia), my grandmother was an engineer for Sukhoi, so naturally I was bit by the bug and never looked back. I have been flying electric RC helicopters for about three years now, but my experience with the RC hobby stretches back over 14 years (mostly bashing RC cars with my friends, which I am still into). I enjoy many aspects of life, and a major one is helping people. Whether its RC cars, helis, or your PC, I have always made a point to help friends and strangers alike figure out the complexities of this great hobby… I am always glad to help. I am still the neighborhood RC guru and am on my way to begin competing in the RC heli circuit (both 3D and FAI/F3C). Along with RC, I also spend much time flying full scale, fishing and skiing… and using Boca bearings wherever I can stick them (like my buddies dust buster).
