Nov 01, 2018

We are preparing for the upcoming Maker Faire and have multiple projects to finish up.

I am making a new gear for the gear puzzle machine. Sketched in Solidworks and printed a test one. I am reprinting the new one now.

After many attempts and failures, brute force and determination paid off. I finally got the new slicks mounted on the rims for the power wheels car.

Now that the wheels are mounted, I continued to work on the chassis and frame. Andrew had printed the main frame, so I painted the front steering components.

All of the parts were printed and the assembly of the 2nd car for the Rocket League was assembled. Each tire took 24 hours to print out of Ninjaflex and the 2 chassis components took a total of 40 hours. In the next week we will be wiring up the 2nd motorcycle and the 2nd car so the competition can begin!
