  • Ceramic Hybrid Rubber Seal

Robot Ceramic Lightning Econo Power Bearings are specially designed for competitive Robot enthusiasts. These ABEC #1 bearings have stainless steel races, retainers and ceramic balls. Ceramic hybrids are lighter, have less rolling resistance and can sustain higher operating temperatures than traditional bearings. All Ceramic Lightning Econo bearings are packed in grease and will require a short break in period to loosen up.

  • Full Ceramic

Full Ceramic Robot Bearings are made entirely of ceramic material and are superior to common steel bearings in many ways. Ceramic is the perfect material for any application seeking to achieve higher RPM's, reduce overall weight or for extremely harsh environments where high temperatures and corrosive substances are present. Ceramic materials commonly used for bearings are Silicon Nitride (Si3N4), Zirconia Oxide (ZrO2), Alumina Oxide (Al2O3) or Silicon Carbide (SiC.)

  • Mounted Units

Flange mounted bearings are used when a shaft axis is perpendicular to the bearing mounting surface. Available in 2, 3, or 4-hole configurations, flange mounted bearings provide a method of accurate mounting fits and load support. 2-bolt flanged bearings have a diamond shaped flange with 2 mounting holes. Most 3-bolt flanged bearings have a circular mounting flange with three, equally spaced mounting holes. Other hole configurations, such as an offset pattern, are also available. 4-bolt flanged bearings have a square or round mounting flange with four mounting holes.
