Description
Stainless Steel, Ceramic Hybrid, Orange Sealed bearings are specially designed for any application seeking a high precision, free spinning bearing. These are the true secret weapon for serious rc racers and long distance casters. ABEC 7 tolerances makes the Orange Seal line the closest precision tolerance that Boca Bearings has to offer. The removable, non-contact rubber seals results in a bearing with less drag and that requires less maintenance than a typical shielded bearing. The Grade 5 ceramic Si3N4 balls will allow the bearing to be lighter and spin 50% faster than a traditional steel bearing. LD = Lube Dry Bearings have been clean and are free of all grease and Oils. Reviewer : JohnDate : 9/4/2012I have been pleased with the results of the bearings I have been purchasing. I have replaced bearings on several $200.00 Garcia Revo STX's and they are now outcasting my $650.00 Shimano Calais DC's. This order was to experiment with some of my older reels and I will soon determine if some of my older reels are worth refurbishing with boca bearings or just get some new reels. I do know that I plan on replacing bearings on all of my new reels that I get from now on. The only downside is the cost, as replacing bearings automatically raises the cost of each reel by $30 or $45. I have been getting the orange seal ABEC7's. I fish a lot, so we will see how these hold up long term. Thanks again.
