Ceramic Lightning, shielded bearings are specially designed for relatively clean operating environments. These bearings have ceramic balls, with stainless steel races, retainers and shields. Ceramic hybrids are lighter, capable of achieving higher RPMÆs and sustaining higher operating temperatures than traditional bearings. Bearings that are packed in grease will require a short break in period to loosen up. Grease can be removed before shipping upon request. Reviewer : MikeDate : 4/26/2013This is actually the second time I have purchased ceramic bearings from ya�ll. I am installing them on a Blade 450 helicopter in place of the stock bearings. I don�t mind paying extra for quality, especially if it is worth it, and these bearings are definitely worth it. They remove vibration and are very smooth and always a perfect fit. I will surely order more as I am replacing the stock ones as I go.
