SALE, Ceramic Lightning, yellow sealed bearings are specially designed for off-road or excessively dirty operating environments. These bearings are maintenance free and lubed for the life of the bearing. The heavy duty rubber seal provides extra protection against the harshest elements. These bearings have ceramic balls, with stainless steel races and retainers. Ceramic hybrids are lighter, capable of achieving higher RPMÆs and sustaining higher operating temperatures than traditional bearings. Reviewer : EdDate : 3/18/2013Had 4 flights so far with these very fancy (& expensive) brgs & they are exactly what I expected from Boca's!
Very briefly:
1/ Could never eliminate a visually noticeable canopy vibration when hovering in close proximity
2/ The heli never really sounded sweet as in nice to listen to.
First time into a hover & I said to myself "This is finally starting to sound like a well tuned & set up engine! The aircraft just sounds so much better & I reckon it even flies/behaves just that little bit better now! Sounds so sweet . To someone who used to race single seater race cars in an earlier life (& did all his own preparation)...this is music to ones ears !!!!!!!!!!!!!! -
Reviewer : OddDate : 6/10/2013I would like to thank you for the fast delivery of ceramic bearings. My race bike wheels are now running very smoothly. In Norway those ceramic bearings are very difficult to buy and very expensive.
